Disappointing

I brought my car in to be inspected because I had gotten a ticket for an expired sticker. Superior wasn't able to complete the job the day they said they would and kept my car on the street with no notice on it that it was in the process of being inspected, so I got a second ticket while it was in their care. I took the tickets and the receipt for the inspection work to parking court and was found guilty for both tickets because they deemed me responsible for having the updated inspection sticker. To me it is extremely unfair that Superior is taking no responsibility for that second ticket or that they didn't' tell me that they were leaving it on the street with the possibility of getting another ticket. I would have come to get the car or left a note in the window with they other ticket explaining that they hadn't been able to fit in the inspection that day.
They put all of their energy into finding little problems with the car that added up to over $1000 and not into thinking about saving me from getting another ticket, which is why I brought the car to them in the first place. No, I won't be coming back to Superior again. They have a terrible customer relations policy in my view.

Dear Ann,
Were sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your experience at Superior Care Auto Center.
Youre claiming that:
1. We hadnt been able to fit in the inspection that day.
2. We kept your car on the street with no notice on it that is the process of being inspected.
3. You would have left a note in the window with they [sic] other ticket explaining that they hadnt been able to fit in the inspection that day.
4. We put all of our energy into finding little problems with the car that added up to over $1,000 and not into thinking about saving me [sic] from getting another ticket.
5. We have a terrible customer relations policy.
In reality:
1. We did your inspection on the day that you brought your car into us, which was Thursday, October 13th. You can verify this by checking your New York state inspection receipt. Its listed on third line from the top of the page on the left hand side.
2. You were aware that we had parked your car on the street before you left the office, and that it would be brought it when an open spot became available in the garage in order to perform the state inspection procedure. Unfortunately, before a spot came available, you received a ticket. No notice, note or previous ticket would have prevented you from receiving another, which brings us to #3.
3. You could have even sat in your car, but it wouldnt have made a difference. Your inspection was expired, and a ticket-writing traffic agent would not have cared if you had left a note in the window and/or your previous ticket. An expired inspection is an expired inspection to them. Furthermore, we were able to fit you in that day for inspection, however since other customers had brought their cars to us earlier that morning, we were working on their cars first. As soon as we had an available spot in the garage, we brought your car in, however we were not going to stop working on other customers cars simply because you had finally gotten around to taking care of your expired inspection, 13 days after the fact. Have you ever heard of the saying, a miscalculation of time on your part does not qualify as an emergency on my part?
4. We would love to know where you came up with a figure of over $1,000 worth of quoted work. In reality, we replaced your bad (as in they were streaking and torn) windshield wiper blades, since bad blades would have been cause to fail your car for inspection. The total of your bill, (parts, labor, inspection fee and sales tax) came to $77.98. During the inspection process, we made note of the other issues that we found (dirty transmission fluid and tire wear), that should be taken care of in order to keep your car running well. AFTER your car was inspected, we gave you an estimate for fixing these issues, which came to a total of $415.96 with parts, labor and tax included in that figure, which is nowhere near $1,000, let alone over.
5. As for having a terrible customer relations policy, all we can say is that people need to take responsibility for their actions, instead of trying to pass the blame onto someone else. Our companys reviews speak for themselves; however, reviews should be honest and based on FACTS, which yours was not. You let your inspection expire; you took care of it 13 days after it did so by bringing it to us, and we inspected it the day that you brought it in. We try our hardest to please all of our customers, but there is no way we could ever please you, when youre basing your opinion of us not on FACTS, but instead are unhappy because you cannot pass your negligence of having your car inspected in a timely manner on us.
