ATA College wound up being very thorough schooling for me. I had initially planned on going to college for nursing. When I found ATA College and began the process of signing up with them they talked me into taking phlebotomy instead. Overall, it was a good experience and I feel that the classes were very good. The instructors were outstanding! Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. They offered a resume writing class which was extremely helpful. They pretty much gave you all of the tools that it takes to become successful in your new line of work. In fact, sometimes the instructors would cook for you right there at the school and as a treat, would give you breakfast or lunch. They were very nice to work with. My only problem with it was that the cost was unbelievably expensive. I mean, what they provide you with is very good and probably worth it. However, the typical cost to take phlebotomy at a school is about seven hundred dollars and it runs for four weeks long. ATA College charged me thirteen thousand dollars and I had to take it for eight months in order to finish. The difference between the two is outrageous! Still, I cannot knock the quality of the school and instructors. As I had said it was done very thorough and provides you with the groundworks for total success. I have since moved from the area and do not regret spending nearly double the money and all the extra time to finish. It was well worth it!
