We are the kind of people who 'do our homework' so when it comes time for big project like a patio or a deck we consult the usual references like Angie's List and Google. The same holds true for a garage makeover. We looked at all of the reviews and then selected a few of the top players to come and see what they could do for us. The GarageTek design meeting was impressive. The designer arrived right on time and was clearly a skilled professional. He used a Mac software tool to create a 3D model of our garage. It was very cool and helped both of us to 'see' the end result in advance. When we had each of the contractors bids in hand to compare it was easy to pick GarageTek as the winner. They were not the highest cost nor the lowest cost option - but they seemed like the obvious choice given their reputation and the quality of their design and their materials (Its American made too). Two weeks later the install crew arrived (again right on time) to put the GarageTek system into our garage. They recovered the walls with their clean bright TekPanel covering and then attached a range of different storage components to the walls - including closets, cabinets, shelves, hooks, baskets sports racks, bikes, golf and other misc bits and parts. Our end result is beautiful and looks just like the picture that we signed off on in the beginning. No surprises at all. Best of all, the crew hauled away YEARS of junk that we had accumulated in the garage. The install team was pleasant and easy to talk with. Overall we spent about $10k on the system and it is clearly a high quality product that was well designed and well made. We are very satisfied without garage solution and would be happy to be a reference for garageTek in the future. Thank you.
