We bought an organic mattress with Spencer's Ventura Mattress and I like the fact that they don't have all the junk in them that a normal mattress does. They're clean mattresses and that's mostly what we were going for. Whenever you buy something like that it's going to be expensive, so I feel like that's to be expected and I didn't think the price was outrageous, but there were a couple aspects of their service I felt they didn't really follow through on. We were very specific about what we wanted since they are custom built mattresses that are layered to get the firmness that you want. So my husband and I each had our own custom mattress, but when they delivered it they didn't have any idea which side was which. They just put them down and they were not labelled, so I'm not really sure if we are sleeping on the right ones. You'd think they would keep track of that since it's a big part of their service. The other thing was we ordered extra long mattresses and they were not as long as I expected. The pillows can actually fall down between the mattress and headboard, and we had a mattress before that fit perfectly, so I'm not sure if they skimped on the length or sent us the wrong one.
