We rented a van for a massive tournament in Tampa, Easter weekend. This place was recommended as they were going to provide a discount for all teams if they booked through them as their partners. Going through all my emails we stated we needed a reservation for April 17-20th for the tournament they are providing deals to. All the correspondence said that weekend. They sent the contract over and we signed for it. As the date gets closer we call to talk to them about our pick up time and how to retrieve the van and they tell us our reservation was for March 17-20th. Confused, we go back through our emails to show where we stated the date and it was confirmed multiple times, however someone in the office mistyped the dates for March 17-20th. We were charged over $1200 for a van that we never picked up. And they blamed us stating "well you signed the contract". And to an extent yes we did, because we expected them to have the correct dates that correlated with tournament deal they had and we emailed about those dates several time. And their solution is we could maybe get a credit. However a credit does nothing for us because now we have no transportation, they have no available van and the money that these teenagers fundraised was wasted because some incompetent employee messed up our dates. We will NEVER book with them again.
