Poor customer service, poor overall craftsmanship and misleading customer will be my biggest complain.

I started looking for a roofing company because Jasper left a note on my door saying “ due to recent rain in the area a lot of your neighbors and are replacing their roofs”. So I started to get worried and decided to start looking for different companies for my food needs.

Jasper was the 1st company to replied to my call which I was very pleased with their quick response time. A tech or salesman person came to my house named Anthony to do an inspection of my roof. He determined that in fact had some wind damage due to the recent rain. He did a great job selling himself and the company by making a lot of promises they have yet fulfilled. I asked him to provide me with an estimate which he basically downplay by saying that “ I would only have to pay the deductible if the insurance company would approve my claim” I still ask him again that I wanted an estimate to get an idea of how much it would cost to replace it. I never got it, They did such a good job at the beginning that I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. They also added another $ 1,000 to the final bill. I now regret it not doing a better job demanding an estimate.

They did meet the insurance appraiser at my house to do another inspection. It was determined that in fact my roof needed to be replaced. I later found out they sent the estimate to the insurance but never sent one to me.

I would recommend to anyone doing business with Jasper to do their homework 1st by demanding an estimate and compare it with other companies. I only blame myself for believing in a good faith of Anthony. He made me believe my roof was to the point of collapsing.

Anthony promised me that he would show up during and after installation to make sure the job was complete to their standard. He also told me they would have an inspector show up after the job was completed, which never happened.

I reached out to Anthony the following day because there were some issues with my roof. I was not happy with the installation. He called me and said that he would come the following day “ Friday at 2pm” to check it out. He never showed up at 2pm so I decided to call him at 3:30pm and he said again that” he was running late but he would definitely be there by 7pm”. He finally showed up at 8:45pm to take pictures of my issues. He agreed with me that there some shingles did not look in place and he said” he would come back Saturday morning to take pictures because it was too dark”. Once again, he never showed up. I ended up calling him around 4pm to find out he was not coming but he did promise me an inspector was coming on Monday. I decided to take a day off Monday to wait for the inspector which he never showed up. I then called the company headquarters in Atlanta. They put me in contact with a field manager name “ Travis”. He showed great concern of my issues and told me he would come Tuesday morning. He came Tuesday as promised and did some adjustments to the side of the front roof. He was not able to do the front of the house because he needed a taller ladder. He told my son he would come back Wednesday morning with a taller ladder to look at the top of the roof. Today is Saturday 7/1/17 and he hasn’t shown up or even called me to let me know if he is planning to come back. As you can see, this is normal behavior with all Jasper employees. They promised the world to get you to sign the contracts and then failed to deliver to their promises.

My roof now has some bubbles on the side of the house ( not sure it is normal but I did not have it with old roof). I am planning to hire an independent roofing inspector to do an inspection of my roof. I will probably have to pay him out my own pocket but I have no choice.

I truly trusted this company to follow up on their promises and they never did. They only promise they followed was to send someone the day of the installation to pick up my check for the deductible.
