First of all, the people at Evergreen Quality Home are probably the most caring people. They have systems in place and they have their structure so that everyone's taken care of. They know exactly what needs to be done.

The make the most wonderful food, and their care is excellent. They put music on, and sometimes they have an Elvis impersonator over to come sing. My mother met Elvis when she was a young girl, and the impersonator came to sing the day that my mom moved in. He sang "Welcome to my world" to her, and it was very sweet.

I toured a countless amount of places before deciding on Evergreen. My mom was in a rehab center because she's got Parkinson's, and I knew she would be leaving the facility at a certain time frame so I went to all sorts of places to check them out. I went to so many places I can't even tell you. I liked Evergreen the most of all, and I felt good the moment I walked in the doors. They were very open, honest, upfront, and they answered every question that I had. I asked them why they opened up their home, and it was because they were all caregivers in a nursing home, and they could tell that there wasn't enough people to take care of the people they way they needed. So they decided to open a place where they could give that kind of attention.

They are always there to care for you, and the facility is very clean and immaculate. They are excellent people and I really like them. I only moved my mom out because she's now at home with me. If I ever needed a home for her again, I'd definitely go back to Evergreen.
