It was a learning experience.
We're remodeling a master bath, so Milton Frank did all the plumbing on that. It's not a completed project because we're waiting for something to come in. They've done about three-quarters of the project so far.
So far, everything is fine. The people have been friendly. My criticism is this:
On our quote, everything was, "We're going to do this, this, and this." It wasn't broken down line-by-line. Something that they said they would do was done by another contractor. I called Milton Frank. They said they'd take it off, but for future reference, we're always going to require line-by-line.
The other issue was, when they came out to give us our quote, he told us if we needed to move pipe, it would be a certain amount. Then, they did the work, and we just received an invoice, and it was twice what we were quoted. When we called them, they said they would take care of it, that it was their mistake. My problem is that they had randomly picked a number for the invoice. I just wonder how many other people don't bother to check the invoices.
It's just a learning curve for us, too. Now we know. Overall, they've taken care of everything. It was just a little upsetting for a couple of things. I would still recommend them. The people who did the work, I'll tell you, were very polite and did a good job. I was very happy with everyone who came to our house. I felt comfortable with them, they did a good job.
