Good mechanics! Outdated communication and payment systems!
I chose to use Winchester Transmission & Services because they were able to get the job done when they said they would. Other mechanics were running two weeks out. The job cost five thousand dollars which was a thousand dollars more than anyone else, but Winchester Transmission & Services gave me a one-year warranty on the work. I like to think that that extra thousand dollars bought me at least a year on the new transmission. It was all pretty good service. The mechanics did what they said they would do. My only complaint is that their communication system is completely outdated. They don't even use email. I think it took me longer to pay for the work than it took to get the transmission installed. It was a frustrating experience trying to work with them without modern communication and payment technology.
