I hired A1 Heating St. Albert Ltd. for the first time to add extra plumbing for a toilet in a commercial property. I used a plumber without doing the work myself because of the commercial aspect.

The plumber arrived as scheduled and after a small reasonable amount of time got it all together and finished the work. The work was good and the plumber was friendly and courteous. He knew what he was doing, got in and got the job done which I liked. He was professional and again the work went very well.

My only issue with A1 Heating St. Albert Ltd. is the way that they handle the initial call-out. The fee for them coming out is $149.00. If you use their service they still charge you that fee even though they charge you for whatever work they are doing. I can understand this in the sense that some people call them out to find out what the problem is and do not hire them to fix the problem and only pay for the fee to come out. I get that and I understand that they have to have something for their time, gas and expense. However, if you hire them to do the work I think the fee should be lowered or included in the charge of doing the actual work.

I would recommend them for the good job that they did and the professionalism of the plumber who did the work. But I will not use them again simply because of the $149.00 fee that they impose just to come out.
