I always prefer to do business with local companies whenever possible, so was very interested in 1st Nat'l Roofing as they are located only a mile from our house. I called and made an appointment for 11:00 AM on Weds. 5/27 to have my roof inspected for damage from a hail storm that occurred a few days before. Danny Blanchard, Sales Mgr., arrived right on time for the appointment. A good start I thought. However, as it had rained just prior to his arrival he was not able to get up n the roof for safety reasons which I understood completely. We set a new appointment for 9:30 AM on Mon. 6/1 to complete the review and talk about next steps. Unfortunately, Danny did not show up for the appointment as scheduled, did not call to advise he was not coming and has not made any contact since.

I've always found the lack of basic courtesy in keeping appointments or advise of changes in schedule to be a sign of a less than reputable organization. If the job was too difficult for 1st Nat'l ability or they just didn't need/want the business Danny should have said so and we each would have moved on. Demonstrating a lack of basic courtesy and disregard for customer's time is an inexcusable business practice.
