Unfortunate problem with Refrigerator warrranty
Friedmans did a good job helping me with the refrigerator warranty process. However, Friedman's was very limited in their ability to affect progress with the warranty company. The warranty company/process is horrible -- I feel it should be either drastically improved or discontinued altogether. The process of working with 2 companies (warranty company and the service provider) led to huge lead times, miscommunication, lack of accountability and a disconnect to care about the outcome. It took, 2 months, 16 visits, 8 part-installations, time away from work, 48 degree temperature in fridge/freezer, spoiled food, many phone calls, and ultimately a new refrigerator had to be purchased.
