I still drive to Long Beach for my appliances even though I live in south OC. Charles was beyond helpful. We can't thank him enough. I have to say though, stay away from The KitchenAid KRFC302 refrigerator. This appliance was installed in my new kitchen in late December, and today is Marcy 11th. The left door of refrigerator has a unique interior folding hinge that seals its closure. But if you don't push this door hard enough, it will not completely close. As well, because of this folding hinge the appliance repair person informed me that the right door has to be opened before opening the left. Please understand, the water dispenser is on the left, so in order to get a glass of water you have to open both doors. I was advised that my right door seal will continue to tear unless I remember to do this. Fortunately, I purchased an extended warranty because I predict I will be seeing the repair person often since the seal tore in just 2 months.
Also, the refrigerator shelves have a 2 1/8" OPEN GAP between each glass shelf and the rear wall of the fridge.and a 1 1/8" open gap between the shelf and the side walls. Therefore, all items with diameters smaller than this (jam jars, soda and juice cans, juice packs, glass beer bottles, glass wine bottles -- e.g., dessert wines, condiments, narrow maple syrup bottles, etc.) crash down the back -- or sides -- of the refrigerator. TERRIBLE DESIGN. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!! I'm not exaggerating, I've only had it 2 months!!!
