Had problem with our central A/C not blowing cold air. Repairman went straight to our HVAC unit located at the basement, removed some screws using a long nose pliers and showed me some rusts inside the coil. I asked him if he needed a tool to remove the screws as he was clearly having a hard time doing it. I then asked him to go outside to check the A/C unit. Without any diagnostics done, he said I need to replace the whole unit and the coil for $5,500. I was surprised and told him I will get a second opinion. Called a different local company, repair guy came and fixed the issue within 45 minutes. Had to pay less than $500 for everything which is a lot less than the $5,500 mentioned by the Fahrenheit repair guy.
