Hot water works

I can't believe I spent over $600 for a water heater and nearly $1600 for code upgrades. And the water heater doesn't come with a power cord! I had to go to Home Depot to get one. Then I was told by the tech that he couldn't hook it up for me. They weren't allowed to install customer provided equipment. REALLY!
