Some years ago we put in a water softener from Haferman Water Conditioning, a Kinetico, and, well, that's some years ago. But, just this past winter we needed the main filter for it, and that was going to be $300-$400. But, for another $300-$400, we could get a whole new system under our sink--and that's what they did. It has more pressure than the old system and it works perfectly. We were certainly satisfied with the work, and the fellow who did it--who had a ponytail--was very knowledgeable and a very nice guy. He did a wonderful job, so we are very happy.
