I've been having full-sole 1/2" lifts put on my shoes for 55 years. I just recently found this website. I had been looking locally and found the cost had escalated and the wait times were 2 weeks or longer. The last few times I had them built up, the glued surfaces had gaps in them, the crepe-like lift material was white and painted, etc. American Heelers did a terrific job. The lift height was tapered at the toe and slightly at the heel as needed, the lift material was evenly glued and was appropriately colored so adding dye was not needed, the mailing process went very smoothly and they were returned promptly. I highly recommend this company.
