I am very satisfied with the lifts you put on two pairs of my shoes. Compared to the workmanship on the pairs that I left with my local orthotics clinic, the workmanship was much neater and more refined. Both pairs I had done by the other provider had a section of the sole that wrapped over the toe. They simply cut through this section of the toe and put in a straight untapered lift, splitting the wrapped section of the sole in two. It looks bad because the color of the lift contrasts with the outer sole. American Heelers, however, cut right up to the wrapped section of sole without cutting though it and tapered the lift to nothing at the front of the shoe for a much more refined appearance that is also easier to walk with. One pair of shoes done by the orthotic clinic had off-white soles, they and used a snow-white lift; I noticed on your website that you have color matches for off-white soles. Not only were the shoes American Heelers did better looking, but you had them back to me less than ten days after I put them in the mail compared to five weeks from the orthotics clinic, and your cost was $40.00 less. I will definitely use American Heelers for all lifts in the future. American Heelers also noticed that I had put in one left shoe with the two right shoes I had sent and contacted me to check on what I wanted done, avoiding the possibility of an expensive consequence of my mistake.
