I had a hip replacement a few years ago. Unfortunately, after the replacement my left leg was 7/16 of an inch longer than my right. I was desperate to find a way to adjust my right shoe so I did not walk with a waddle. I knew that if I did not adjust the discrepancy, my back and balance would suffer and my posture would eventually become twisted. I was so fortunate to find American Heelers. They have adjusted many shoes from gardening clogs to work flats to walking shoes, to tennis shoes, to high heels. No one knows that I have a length discrepancy when I wear the adjusted shoes and I have had no back, posture, or balance issues. The lightweight material they use and the craftsmanship dedicated to each shoe makes the adjusted shoe look and feel no different from the other one.
