I switched getting shoe lifted by local cobbler here in Socal to American Healers. It costs more for me to switch, but the quality is worth it. I had an accident that left me 1" shorter with 1 leg. The lifts that AH do perform better and weigh less. This has enabled me to start getting back to walking 3 miles a day, where the other lift I obtained locally were very stiff and weighed too much. That extra bit caused a lot of pain and had to stop my walks. I am very pleased with the whole process from filling out the request form, mailing the shoe off up to receiving it back. Turn around times have been excellent all things considering they are in Ohio and I am in California. To top it off, Ilya actually does a follow up call to see how everything works.
