I am quite a nature nerd. I do hiking in wetlands, muddy woods and snow. For years now after my hip replacement left me with a 7/8 inch leg discrepancy I have had my shoe built up locally. My shoemaker applies a slippery sole. This has meant a lot of slip sliding around with wet feet (and not infrequent falls). I sent a muck boot and a gore-tex hiking boot to American Heelers and I just recieved them in the mail. Not only is their service fast but the workmanship is incredible. I can't wait to get out in the woods. I feel like I just got part of my life back. Thank you American Heelers!
