I've only used R&D Heating, Cooling & Electric once so I'd be happy to recommend them but without much to go on. When I experienced a problem with the air conditioning I decided to give them a call because the previous owner left the R&D contact information behind. Some of the people in the neighborhood seem to use bigger companies according to the trucks I see around. I think R&D is locally owned and operated, which is my preference. Another deciding factor was knowing that the previous owner used them. R&D responded immediately to my call when the outside air conditioning unit wasn't clicking on and off properly. The technician arrived promptly and he happened to have the right part in his truck so he was able to quickly change it and go on his way. Everything is now hunky-dory again. I will probably use R&D Heating, Cooling & Electric if I ever have another problem.
