R&D Heating, Cooling & Electric is an honorable company! They won't take advantage of a client's ignorance and sell them something they don't need. The lead man, Ron, is knowledgeable and knows how to look at the existing parameters and modify the situation properly. In my case, I was replacing a 1939 Sunbeam coal-fired furnace, which was later converted to oil and then to gas. I called about ten different companies with specific requirements in mind. I'm an ex-jet mechanic so I knew to look for a company structure with broad experience and mechanical depth in its employees. You would not believe the stories I could tell about some of these companies. But I found what I was looking for at R&D. They recommended I go with Lennox for my new air conditioner and high-efficiency gas furnace. I'm very happy with that decision. R&D did the installation properly. It was clean, neat, and professional, The mechanic came back once to fine-tune it, reducing the airflow, and producing even temperature and humidity control.
