R& D installed a heating and air conditioning system 3 years ago and it has not worked correctly from the beginning. During this latest incident the heater was not working and a "technician" come out at 9PM. He opened something and soot spilled out onto the floor and rug. He did not fix the heater and left the soot. The next day another "technician" came and assumed it was a blocked chimney so we hired someone to unblock it, however, it was not blocked. The "technician" returned and discovered the oil filter and nozzle were blocked. R&D charged us for all the visits and the parts both of which were covered under our service contract. We had to fight with them to get the chimney costs covered and we are still trying to get the other money owed us. Additionally, Ann, the General Manager was quite nasty and won't answer our emails. R&D is a bad company. They lie and cheat. DO NOT USE R&D!
