I first used R&D Heating & Cooling about eight or nine years ago, when I had them install a heating unit in my house. Since then, they come out twice a year to perform the routine preventative maintenance checkup. I can't say enough nice things about them. They are polite and courteous, and I feel like they really care about me, and about doing their best to satisfy my needs. They are excellent when it comes to customer service and communication. They either text me, or email me, or phone me to let me know when they are en route. And, their prices are competitive with other companies in this area.

They are extremely professional and knowledgeable about their trade. Before using them, I had a furnace which was not functioning properly. I contacted several companies to get a diagnosis, and an estimate. Some tried to upsell me, and others gave me conflicting information about the problem. So, I called the manufacturer to check out some of the things I was told. They informed me that R&D Heating & Cooling was spot on, that they had done a very thorough job of assessing the problem, and had correctly diagnosed the correct solution! Know that my heating and air company did that good a job really reassures me that I am doing business with a quality company.

On top of all that, R&D Heating & Cooling really goes above and beyond when it comes to service. One example is, it was a Saturday, and my hot water heater began to leak. I called them up, and even though I did not have a maintenance contract with them which covered the hot water tank, they took the time to walk me through the steps on how to stop the leak until they could get there. On another occasion, I was having a furnace problem, and their technician offered to help me try several things before they came out and had to charge me for the work. None of those things worked, but I thought it was nice of them to try to save me a service call if possible. I think other companies would have just come out and never given a second thought about it. Further, their people never just show up, do the maintenance and leave. They always take the time to discuss the status of my system with me, and tell me if anything needs my further attention. I really appreciate all those extras, and that is why I have used R&D Heating & Cooling for over nine years! A Plus!
