I am sick and tired of them trying to up-sell me when they come out here!

Bruder Electric, Inc. is way too expensive! I have been using their company for the last couple of years. They had initially installed our generator and I had them doing general maintenance checkups and repairs on it all this time. I am sick and tired of the technicians coming out here who constantly try to up-sell me on other things instead of paying attention to their work that I hired them to do. I absolutely would not recommend them to anyone. I plan on not using them ever again. Every single year that I used Bruder Electric, Inc. they have gone up on their prices. It is ridiculous and I will not be using them again.

Tom, we appreciate all comments both positive and negative as we use the negative comments as a tool to make our company even better and learn from mistakes. After taking the time to post this review you deserve to have each complaint addressed.
1. You stated that we installed your generator. I'm sorry Tom, but that just is not the truth. Walsh Electric installed it and you have only been using us for maintenance since 2014.
2. You stated that you are sick of the "upsells". Early n when we started servicing your generator we did recommend that you consider updating your old 100A service due to age and some deterioration and we also provided you with an estimate for your consideration. The last two years when your battery was load tested it came up as "passed but weak". We explained that to you both times and gave you the option to replace your battery. Our policy is and always will be that if we see something that should be addressed we will always share it with our customers. Sorry that you felt that was constant upselling. I do know that if we hadn't told you about your battery and it failed, you wouldn't be happy, so we always provide you with potential conditions.
3. They pay attention to their work. The work we do on your generator is very detailed and as you see when we email you the full report of your generator maintenance and all that we did including the results of your battery load test, we are actually paying very close attention to the work we were called out for.
4. You said every year that our prices increase. Again, you are just plain lying about this. First of all, we have not raised our maintenance fees since owe started providing this service in 2006. We have added the express option which is $100.00 less then our full maintenance as well as reduced the cost of battery replacement. Again, if you look at your records we'll go back to 2017, you paid for a full maintenance at $399, in 2018 you paid for an express maintenance for $299, in 2019 you paid for a full maintenance for $399 and in 202 you paid for an express for $299. There is absolutely no price increases as you are claiming.
We are a very open and honest company that will always give our best effort for service including presenting you with issues or opportunities to enhance your safety and or style of living. We never pressure anyone to accept our suggestions or recommendations nor would we offer something to our customers that a they don't need or won't benefit them. As far as your term "upsell", that is truly part of our business as stated in our guidelines listed above. It would be like me hiring a guy to clean the outside of my business windows and when he got there he just cleaned the outside and didn't offer to do the inside as an upsell. First of all, its poor customer service because my windows would look horrible still after the outside was clean but the inside we still dirty. Secondly, it is poor business as its a perfectly legitimate option to present me with. In actuality, this is exactly what happened to me with our window cleaners. They offered to do the inside as well even though I only wanted the outside done and I am thrilled that I excepted that offer.
Tom, thanks again for letting me clear up these false accusations, I appreciate your feelings even though they have no credence. I wish you all the best finding another company to service your generator, since we will not be servicing you anymore, due to the dishonesty of this review you have been disqualified as a customer as well. We not only insist on being honest with our customers and everyone we are associated with, we insist on our customer being honest with us. Thanks for the opportunity we had serving you and God bless you in the future.
