We have used A1 Factory Direct before, so we didn't really shop around this time. We wanted carpeting for our master bedroom before new closets were installed. I did pop into Coles but the salesperson wasn't very helpful. I didn't want to invest the time in a Costco quote for just one room. A1 Factory Direct did a pretty good job. Everything went smoothly. There are one or two spots that I might have done differently, but I have a particular eye for these things. One place where they cut the carpet is visible until I vacuum over it. Another place seems a little spongy like they didn't tack it down all the way. Overall, the job went quickly and got done just in time for the closet installation. They actually overlapped a little bit with the closet installers, but it was during COVID and everybody just wanted to get in and get out as quickly as possible. We chose a good quality carpet with an extra thick pad so I'm happy with the results. The salesman was generous with the samples and even mailed them to us so we didn't have to pick them up. I would use A1 Factory Direct again if I had to, but this room was really the last piece of the puzzle, and I don't have any more flooring to do.
