Avoid if you have a white sofa
When I had to sign to acknowledge they couldn't guarantee results, I not have moved forward with the cleaning. However, the sofa was Pottery Barn performance canvas, so I thought it would be fine. Wrong. The cording didn't come clean and shadows of spots remained. I discussed just washing the cushion cover with him and was dicouraged from doing it due to potential shrinking. To his credit, I do believe the technician really tried. I foolishly let him up-sell me stain guard.
After the sofa dried, pilling was evident from the friction of cleaning. Within days, there was a shadow on the cushion where I normally sit. I was so frustrated, I took all the cushion covers off and washed them. Far superior results - no issues.
My mistake was not contacting them when the work was done in October. I contacted them today to discuss my concerns as I don't like to give a negative review without ptoviding an opportunity to the company to make things right. I was advised there is nothing they can do for me since it's 3 months later. I believe they should have refunded at least the added cost of the stain guard as it appears it added nothing.
Please understand they are pleasant and professional. My experience is a cautionary tale...think twice if your sofa is white...and if you're not satisfied, contact them immediately. I feel the $400+ cost was a total waste of money.
