Perfect in the Past; Now, Not Very Good
I bought window treatments from Unique Window Treatments seven years ago for my first apartment. Everything was flawless; the treatments were installed properly and there were no issues at all. A month ago I needed three window treatments. I visited their showroom and placed an order, but I didn't hear back from them afterwards. So I followed up with them. They said, yeah, my order existed and then, again, nothing from them. I called again, and then I got the credit card confirmation. Then, again, no follow up from them. I called again. They told me that my order had reached and we set a delivery date. The day before the delivery, they tell me one of the treatments I had ordered was not available. So I said, fine, deliver everything else. They come to make the delivery, but they don't deliver everything else. Apparently this treatment is no longer in stock. It's odd that they wouldn't know this when I placed the original order--which was like two months before this. I just think they now have with less customer service orientation; the current staff don't follow up and they don't advocate for the customer. I reached out to the owner, and he was gracious about it. But he also seemed to be defensive of his team. In the end I went with another company. I wouldn't go back to them unless I heard there was a major overhauling of how they operate now.
