I ordered 6 plantation shutters from the Window Design Group. Kevin came to our home to give us an estimate and though we had some issues with their contract process, we were able to work them out. The shutters were delivered when promised and all but one were installed with no problem and we are happy with the results. The final shutter was not measured properly and was too small for the window leaving gaps around all the sides. The installer told us we should use quarter round molding to cover the gaps, but they do not provide the molding and I would have to pay someone else to install that which I felt was not an option. We told the installer to stop the installation of that shutter until we spoke with Kevin to come up with a solution or replacement shutter because the Window Design Group guarantees our satisfaction. We have left numerous messages with both Kevin and Customer Service and have had no response from anyone at the company in 2 weeks. The installer reduced the amount due upon installation by $300 from a total of $3365. At this point it seems apparent that we are stuck with a shutter that does not fit and Window Design Group will do nothing to fix it.
