Has potential but needs improvement.
I've been using Flat Fee Landlord for 6 months. In the beginning it started out really well, but I think the communication has slacked off in a way. As far as being able to talk to a person, it's not that easy. They want everything to be online and through email, but sometimes that's just not an appropriate way to have effective communication on maintenance issues regarding the house. I think that could be improved, as well as getting receipts from the work that's been done. They're quick to bill, but I have to ask for the invoice and I won't get it until a month later. As a homeowner, I need the receipts for tax purposes.
When I see an estimate come through for labor and costs, it's not broken down into enough detail to analyze what's happening. It takes time out of me from doing my job, and I feel like I'm managing the property manager. As long as I have a renter, I'll continue to use their service, but considering what I was looking for and what their company said they could provide, I think more of my expectations could be met.
