We had 4 estimates for removing old carpeting and replacing with wood treads before Chad G. arrived. It was clear that he knew what he was talking about. He was right! The wood product under the carpeting and hall was disintegrating, Chad is clearly a master carpenter-the entire staircase was redone beautifully and the upstairs hall. The squeaks are gone, too. We will call the Handyman Company for any future work (and request Chad). The cost was reasonable.
