Randy's Electric is nothing but a rip off! I had used them three or four times prior to this visit. This time I called them up and told them exactly what needed to be done. They sent someone out to my home who put in a simple switch. It took the technician all of ten minutes to install the switch and then he turned around and charged me $150! There is no communication whatsoever. What a ridiculous charge to put on someone. Who has that kind of money just for a service call? I wish that the office clerk would have told me that there was a service fee on top of the switch charge. I had no idea and no one said anything to me. I do not understand why a company cannot be honest and upfront with you and explain the extra charges that would be put on you. I will never ever use Randy's Electric again and would never recommend them to anyone. If they cannot take the time to at least give you a ballpark quote over the phone before they come out to do the work then they are not worth using.
