I'm pretty well satisfied with Comfort-Air Engineering Inc. They are one of the few I'd recommend if anyone asked. I worked in the industry one summer and it wasn't fun climbing into one-hundred-forty-degree attics to fix the air conditioning. I also have a friend in the industry who I would call but he's always too busy to show up. Comfort-Air has been Johnny-on-the-spot for us. In Texas, if the air conditioning breaks we need someone right away because it is so bloody hot. We used them in the rental house before moving here. In the new place, I was getting monthly electric bills for a thousand dollars, one month was eighteen hundred dollars. The installer of our Trane unit three years ago was the builder and it turns out they had wired the thermostat wrong. The heat and the air conditioner were running at the same time. When the guy from Comfort-Air discovered this, our monthly electric bills went immediately down to three hundred dollars and the whole house felt cooler, especially upstairs. He saved our $@!#%. This time, when we called Comfort-Air Engineering Inc for an air conditioning repair he had to go through a teenage boy's bedroom and deserved hazard pay. I asked him if he'd had all his shots before entering the biohazardous room. This teenager is raising goats for ag and everything associated with him smells like goats. He walks around in a cloud of dust like Pig-Pen from the Peanuts. The brave technician from Comfort-Air Engineering Inc got through the room to fix the air conditioning. He said we might need a new coil soon but he got it working for now. Five stars.
