We had an above ground pool for many years and after all the kids moved out, we took out the above ground pool. We missed the pool so after about a year, my wife and I wanted to get a new pool put in. Our next door neighbor had a pool put in by Anthony & Sylvan Pools and so we used them as a reference and got the salesman's contact information from them.

I was very impressed with the salesman that initiated the drawing and everything to us. The only thing that I wasn't pleased with was it took longer than what we thought. Basically that was because of the weather and scheduling the concrete trucks. When we put this pool in, Mother Nature wasn't cooperating and we had a whole lot of rain longer than was expected. There were delays what with so much rain. The excavation actually filled up with water and the walls caved in somewhat. Anthony & Sylvan Pools came out, fixed it and re-evaluated it. They took all the rebar out, and the project end result was very well and I was very pleased with it.

Our pool has a different shape with a swimming area for grand kids on one end, and on the deep end another small swimming area. My favorite is the filtration system which we didn't have with the above ground pool. Now when the pool kicks on, it's basically cleaning itself. I also like the way that it's 3 to 5 1/2 feet but it slopes from 3 to 5 1/2. Some pools have 3 and then you would have a deep center and then back up. But this has a gradual incline and the deep end is down where the sumps or the main drain are. It's very enjoyable having this pool, like last Labor Day weekend, when we had a whole bunch of folks at the house -- the family and the grandkids. So ever since we got our pool put in, I have recommended Anthony & Sylvan to friends and colleagues.
