Fabulous and Amazing
I've wanted a pool for years. I posted on a Facebook page for our city and said, ""Hey, everybody. I want to get a pool. Are there any recommendations?"" A woman on there said that she got her pool from Anthony & Sylvan and she was extremely happy with how it went. So, I gave Anthony & Sylvan and another pool company a call to come out and have a consultation with me.
When the rep from the other pool company came out, he was great, knew what he was talking about, and had a lot of options, so I got a bid from him. Then the Anthony & Sylvan rep also came out and he was really helpful and knowledgeable. I got a bid from him as well and their price was so much more affordable and their pool had more features than the other company's.
So, we got a free-form pool from Anthony & Sylvan. It has a spa, a waterfall, and a bubbler on the sun deck. I like its overall look and that it came out looking very relaxing. Then we also had what they called a sports pool, so the deepest part is in the middle, and so we can play volleyball and have a lot of fun that way in the pool. I love the waterfall. It came out really beautiful and the sound when it's on is extremely relaxing.
The project manager was fabulous and amazing. I couldn't even say enough about him to give him enough credit. I've asked around and talked to a ton of people who have pools or are currently having pools put in, and there's hardly any who have talked about it being a positive experience, and there are many who are even ready to sue the company that's putting in their pool. I can see how that happens because when the companies are putting in these pools, they're dealing with contractors, plumbers, steel guys, and gunite guys, so they're at the mercy of those people showing up.
We had some things that didn't go as planned or were an issue. But my project manager was so responsive and on the ball, and fixed anything that popped up, and addressed every single concern I had in an extremely timely manner, including a couple of issues that really upset me. I would text him a question and he would respond almost immediately. I told him that the deck guys are here and they're not putting in the holes for the volleyball net, and he immediately called the guy and said, ""Hey, have her put these in wherever she wants them."" They were just pouring the concrete and they put these grommet holes in the ground. The project manager was at my house yesterday. It took a long time for the gas company to come out and upgrade my meter, and they finally did it. I texted him and asked who do I get a hold of to turn my heating unit on so I can heat my spa. He's like, ""Oh, no problem. I'll come out there and turn it on,"" and he did so.
I look forward to being able to have get-togethers and share our pool with everybody. I have two kids and they just love the pool to pieces. It's nice to have it because, after school, it can be a reward for them getting their homework done. It's a great relaxation piece for the weekend, instead of going out and doing an activity, and spending hundreds of dollars, like going to the movies is almost $100 for a family of four. So, it's great to have this in-home entertainment.
