Ive been looking at Pebble Tec for quite some time. I wanted to get them when we had the pool done the first time versus plastered. We had gray plaster on the pool the first time, and they were having a special. For the same price, Tec would normally be costly. We got Sheen which is the smaller & smoother finish. The guy that helped us do this is Hart **. He was good. He helped us in picking a color. We ended up going with midnight pearl which is the darkest color you can go with. It's interesting because when they first did it, the color was good but it was mottled. So they did this right after I opened it last year, late April or May.

Since they tinkered with it on and off, we opted to swim on it. Just left it the way it was until they came back. There was another Anthony & Sylvan crew that came in September and acid washed it. Got it to sit in a real strong acid bath for three or four days. The difference in the color was like night and day. So with a very dark color like that, the stones pop but the water is so blue with a very, very, very dark plaster. It turned out much, much better than how I thought it was going to turn out. Even though we had to go through this stuff to have them rewash it again, it turned out fantastic. The color is over the top. We should have done this before. I'm very happy.
