I scheduled an appointment with B. Carlson Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Inc. to come out and check a wall heater that had stopped working. This was in a rental unit, and it was cold when it stopped working. They came out and got the motor number and left. They came back the next day and found out that they couldn't get the correct part and it would be a couple of days before they could. I called the office and spoke with the service technician supervisor, and he made a comment, "if I wasn't so cheap and would just replace the unit I could get my renters heat." I had no problems with replacing the wall unit. I had a problem with the lack of communication about the part and the sarcastic remarks toward me. I ended up having to put my renters in a hotel for a few days and have someone else come in and install a new heating unit. Lack of communication was key in this situation, and that is the reason for the two-star rating. I did not appreciate the comment of being cheap nor did I appreciate them stalling for days saying they would get the part. I will never refer this company nor would I use them again.
