Do not use this company for AC service.

First off when I called to find out about the cost I was told there is a $79 service fee to find out what the problem is with my units. I asked if that was the charge for each unit and was told it would be for both. I have two units with problems. Then i was told the repair would be an additional charge for each unit. I asked if i would get an estimate first and was told the technician would talk to me about the problem and the cost to repair. So i went ahead and scheduled an appointment. The day before the appointment I get a call from someone in their office about the charges and it was a very different explanation. Now I was told the $79 was a diagnostic charge for the first 30 minutes for one unit and if it took longer than 30 minutes there would be additional charges plus the cost to repair. And it would cost $59 for the second AC unit to diagnose plus repair charges. I was not happy about this different explanation and asked why i was told something different when i first called. She could not answer that. I decided to just have only one unit diagnosed and kept the appointment since I had nothing else lined up. To make a long story short , watch out because every little minute is charged. It took an additional 15 minutes to diagnose the unit, but what is not disclosed is that on top of the diagnostic charge, the technician charges you labor per minute past the first 30 minutes. And of course the Tech guy takes his sweet time going back and forth to the truck buying time. I was not expecting a $200 service cost just to tell me there's nothing wrong with the AC unit other than a dirty filter. How shocked and upset I was with how this company does business. They're a big company with a lot of overhead and use very sneaky tactics with their charges. Use the "little guy" AC repair person instead. Stay away from this company. You don't even get an invoice until days later by email or mail. Can you believe that they pay someone to review the invoices for spelling and other corrections, then they're sent to another employee to be mailed or emailed! See, this is the overhead I'm telling you about. You have to special request your invoice if you want to see it right away. What's up with that? I do not recommend this company.
