Dan S. (sorry, I don't recall his last name) has performed a number of tasks for me, and the work has been consistently excellent. He always explained what he was doing and shared any problems he encountered. I would recommend Mr Handyman very strongly, but be aware they don't come cheap. It's $172 for the first hour and $56 for each additional 30 minutes, payable at the end of the day. A minor complaint is that you never get a receipt unless you pester for one. Seems to me it should be a required part of the process.
