Good work, but crazy expensive!
This was the third time I used Mr. Handyman of Wheaton-Hinsdale over the last four years. I had about eight or nine mostly cosmetic items that I needed to get done prior to putting the house on the market. I asked Mr. Handyman to give me a quote, which they did. I only ended up using for one item on the list because I was finding that I could get the same work done by others, often at one quarter the price. Mr. Handyman does good work, but they are just crazy expensive. The one thing I had them do, was to move the gazebo over six inches to service the septic system. That cost $400 for two men to spend about 20 minutes on. That price was supposed to include moving the gazebo back, but it has been two weeks, and they have not returned.
