I've used Over the Top Refinishing before and John does really good work. He shows up on time and he spends a lot of time on the job. A lot of guys just rush rush rush. He does a lot of prep work, he's really finicky, and he doesn't spray and refinish until he is ready to go. I'm a contractor and I've used several other guys before. John is the best, he's the only guy I use. He is reliable, pays attention to detail, and I don't have to watch him to make sure he does a good job, he just does it.

I think his prices are good for what they are because he does a good job and re-tiling a whole bathtub would cost about 4 times more. If the tile is in good shape then the customers don't usually want to replace the whole thing. I use John to refinish the tubs and it always turns out great.

He's a nice, nice guy. He shows up on time, works hard, takes care of business, cleans up. He does everything right. He always follows up to make sure you like it. He's a good, hands-on guy. I like him. He's very personable, very friendly, very outgoing. He will answer anybody's questions. Some guys don't want to answer any questions but he's very personable. Customers like him because of that.
