I used to use Carpet Superstore for our flooring needs, as well as for family members when doing their Renos. The sales staff were great While selecting our product and they also installed the product. Our dog had an accident off the puppy pad (Less than a year after being installed) which was left unnoticed for no more than 10 mins and was very well cleaned and dried. The next morning the seams were all swollen and remain that way. We purchased two extra boxes just in case we ever had an issue so I called Carpet Superstore as I wanted to have the installers come and replace the damaged area with our extra. I never got a call back as promised. I specifically inquired about fluid spills just in case water was ever spilled and was told that as long as it didn’t remain on the floor for about an hour, and was wiped up well, that there shouldn’t be an issue. Just last night a glass of water was accidentally tipped and wiped up very well right away. The same result...!
After spending thousands of dollars just 4 years later, we have to have it all torn up and replaced as it is an eyesore. We take very good care of our home and are careful - but accidents happen. This product is garbage (Kronotex from Germany) and is not worth the cardboard packaging it’s in. NEVER again! ShirleyKC. Red Deer
