If it were up to me, there would be a law against painting anything outside that's meant to last like the wood siding on my house! It was my wife's idea to get this Rhino Shield product. It looks like paint, gets sprayed on like paint but ends up more like a pickup truck bed liner in its finish and durability. It sure looks good now, and if it looks good for 25 years, it'll have been a great investment! The work took a little longer than I anticipated but the installer took a lot of time preconditioning the wood and filling in all the cracks to strengthen everything before applying Rhino Shield. He was great. I am very happy with the product, and time will tell!
