I've been taking my cat to this vet for a little over a year since moving to Cambridge, when my cat started demonstrating symptoms of asthma. The front desk staff and veterinary assistants are all very friendly, along with the staff cats (although my kitty didn't appreciate this much) Dr. Weiner does come across as very serious, but I don't read into it as cold or uncaring, and took the time to answer any questions I had; either in person, by phone or by email. Whenever I've had a checkup he's been very good with her and handles her well and while she doesn't like the vet appointments they have all gone very smoothly. When she had an emergency due to an injury requiring a partial tail amputation he was able to get her in quickly and perform the surgery. Months later you could never tell that she had part of her tail removed, no bald spots and she has total control over it. As long as I'm in the area I plan on keeping her with this vet as I feel very comfortable with the care she is getting. One nice quality too is that even a few months after my last visit, when calling the office Dr. Weiner answered the phone and knew who I was without giving my name so he does remember patients well and I find that a good quality.
