Luxury" rental van not quite as promised----a tear in back bench leather seat not fixed as specified and an interior that was not as clean as it could have been, a ride that was not exactly "smooth", the gas tank not full prior to rental, and a non-working DVD player on a 3000 mile road trip with 3 grandchildren that did not exactly make for happy travellers. And when you are expected to pay for services upfront, do not expect a reasonable compensation if there are any "surprises". Obviously, the van was not checked properly in advance, and the hand-off run-through as we were leaving was very rushed and incomplete. We asked to be shown how to operate the DVD player to ensure it was in working order, but were assured "all you have to do is press the "on" button." Be sure to ask questions AND get answers, and insist on a demonstration that everything is in proper working order BEFORE you leave. Not exactly the vacation experience we were looking forward to!
