Pay a little extra and go with a bigger company

The owner of the company came to the house and gave a very good price for the ac unit to be installed. Everything after that has been $@!#%.The installers took 12 hours to install the unit. They cut lots of corners to get the job done. They used the old existing connections that I was told would be replace. The unit couldn't cool down the house so we called a service guy out.He came out and said he didn't see any problems so I went in the attic and showed him 2 leaks where the ducts connect to the unit. He then patched them up still using the old existing connections. The ac unit was slightly better but still had to run constantly to maintain 77 degrees in th house. I found more leaks on my own..Service tech then came out again and repaired those leaks also. The ac unit still not working great and my electric bill is no lower than when I had my old unit from 1989.I now had a leak in the attic because drain was never cleaned during install and drip pan leaks so auto shut off doesnt work. Ceiling in garage now has big water stain..I contacted the owner asking him to come see how this was installed so he can get someone out to my home to fix correctly. He was away at the time and told me he would come when he returns..2 months later still nothing from him. so emailed him again to contact me when he can.No return email and no call back.

As always we are grateful for all the feedback we receive. I also felt I should post on this review as I feel we have worked very hard to address the concerns. When I proposed this installation I did not include a new duct system. It never came up and wasnt necessary. The existing ductwork was almost new. The installation began at 9am and was completed at 6:30 pm. When it is 90+ degrees out and very high humidity we make sure our installers take breaks to hydrate. The attic was over 150 degrees and it was in the middle of the two weeks of excessive heat in August. Feels like temops were 109 degrees then in an attic it is almost twice that. Following the completion of the install we received a call about a duct loose from the unit. We came right out and found it had been pulled loose. We repaired it and then a few days later we were called back for the same things, a duct leak. We went back again and more ducts were pulled loose. I am not sure who or why the ducts kept being pulled loose but we fixed it again. Once again we were called for the dsame things. A duct leak. Went back and another duct was pulled loose. In all we went back 6 times always finding another duct loose when it was sealed when we installed the system. We are grateful for your chosing us for your replacement and since this install we have our installers taking photos of every installation for each customers job folder.
