I picked Affordable movers for my move from NY to Fl both because of cost and a good prior experience. I was told that I would have to pay my bill before they would deliver my furniture. My bill included a charge of almost $800. for $100000. Of 0 deductible insurance. Upon unpacking we discovered numerous pieces of pottery were broken along with numerous other items damaged including a large screen tv. It has been 8 months since I submitted my claim and have received an offer of $130. for the damage. If you have a claim you cannot speak to a live person. Their "insurance" is a scam. These are not honest or honorable people. If you are moving anything of value I would avoid this company at all costs.
