Sturm Heating and Air Conditioning

Hired Sturm to replace an existing gas forced air furnace and central air.

Recent installation was completed. after about a 10 week delay. I do not blame Sturm as we are all victims of the Covid-19 distribution problem.
The installers were courteous and I engaged them with conversation and questions several times during the course of the day. They took the time to clean up their workspace in my garage when job was completed. I was handed some paperwork with explanations of inspection requests I was required to make. Also told who to contact to make final payment for work and materials.
L and I Electrical Inspector showed up and found a problem with the manner in which the condensation pump was wired. Inspector will contact Sturm to rectify this. Pump was hardwired to furnace electrical rather than plugged into 120 VAC outlet as it should have been. Wish installers would have told me they replaced breaker in electrical panel. Replaced 30A with 25A to meet code.
County Inspector also completed his inspection and had no concerns. During inspection we both noticed that drywall was cut in the attic on a firewall in attached garage to further access attic for furnace vent pipe installation. Wish installers would have told me about that as well. Finally, was promised a CO2 Detector as part of the installation. I did not get the CO2 Detector and I forgot to ask.
