I've noticed there is a trend with this company with it's military members. No one at Arpin contacts you and no one answers the phone, and those who do transfer you to a line where no one answers. I also understand that the summer time is busy and it definitely did take a long time to have my goods picked up, which was no big deal. Alas, after my things were picked up (by some sub-contracted company that Arpin hired) I never heard anything from the company and had NO idea what was going on. And that was just the beginning of the problems. As my station is in southern Alabama, north Florida is not too far away, which is where I decided to live, I called Arpin to let them know my new address. Simple, right? Wrong. As it turns out, someone at Arpin thought it was somehow possilbe to have two states listed in my address which led to my household goods stuck in storage 100 miles from my home and ended up with the company refusing to move it to me. So I had to have it delivered to my station. Very inconvienent. To top it off, everything was packed horribly. High value items weren't even properly packed and collectibles were completely destroyed. Then I had to get some guys together here at the station to help me move my things to my home. I then filed my claim and dealt with the most rude, nasty woman I've ever had to deal with. She denied my claim because "I personally moved my things to Florida" When not only I, but my wife as well tried to explain to her that had nothing to do with the damages they caused, she proceeded to have a little conniption fit and told us, "I will do everything in my power to make sure that your claim will also get denied by the government" What kind of crappy person treats service members this way? Poor, pathetic, horrible customer service. Don't worry Ms. Stricklin, I will make sure the US Gov't doesn't waste another dime on your terrible services.
